WATER TEMPERATURE

An adjustable, submersible heater is essential to maintain the temperature of the water in the nutrient solution tank between 18 and 24 ºC. This avoids stress and slow growth in plants caused by cold water, and prevents oxygenation problems and infections from warm water. 

The heater is a versatile, submersible tool used in hydroponic agriculture to keep the water temperature in the nutrient solution reservoir within the optimal range, which is generally between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Its function is to prevent plant stress caused by cold or hot water, which can negatively affect plant growth. The heater is available in two capacities, 300W and 500W, to suit different volumes of water in the tanks. It is recommended that the heater is switched off for 15 minutes before changing the nutrient solution to maintain good performance and durability.
