CALMAG AGENT CANNA

Calmag Agent is a product specifically designed to correct and improve water quality, especially in areas where the water is naturally soft. Its main function is to increase the levels of calcium and magnesium in the water, resulting in an increase in the electrical conductivity (EC) of the water. Maintaining proper water quality is essential to achieve optimum results in plant cultivation.

This product offers several advantages:

Highly concentrated, so a minimum amount is required to obtain effective results.

Increases the EC of the water, allowing less additional nutrients to be added.

Calmag Agent is easy to apply. Shake the product well, then fill the nutrient solution tank with water at a temperature of 20-22°C and add Calmag Agent until the EC reaches 0.45 mS/cm. Afterwards, the nutrients and additives are mixed according to the needs of the plants.

Water quality varies depending on the location and can be classified into different types, such as soft, normal, hard or bad water. In the case of soft water, with an EC of less than 0.3, Calmag Agent is used to raise the EC to 0.4. The EC range of 0.3-0.5 is considered normal water. Hard water has an EC above 0.5, while bad water contains sodium and chloride, which makes it toxic to plants.

The ideal goal is to maintain an EC level of 0.4-0.5 in your water, as it provides adequate levels of calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate, which helps to balance the pH of the water. With Calmag Agent, you can raise the EC of your water to correct deficiencies in soft water and achieve an optimal environment for growing plants. In case of higher EC or poor quality water, it is recommended to use a reverse osmosis filter before using Calmag Agent to reach the desired EC of 0.4.
