SEDIMENTS (PP) FILTER The house sediment filter is made of thin melt blown polypropylene in the shape of a cylinder. The main function of the sediment filter is to remove large and fine particles from a drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silk and rust particles.

These filters have graded density layers, which means that the outer layers are more porous, trapping larger particles, while the inner layers are a micron thinner trapping smaller particles.
