GRANULATED CARBON FILTER (GAC) Standard osmosis replacement. SEDIMENTS (PP) FILTER The house sediment filter is made of thin melt blown polypropylene in the shape of a cylinder. The main function of the sediment filter is to remove large and fine particles from a drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silk and rust particles. These filters have graded density layers, which means that the outer layers are more porous, trapping larger particles, while the inner layers are a micron thinner trapping smaller particles.

REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE A reverse osmosis membrane is composed of different layers of polyamide through which street water is filtered to obtain a water with a low salt content and free of viruses and bacteria. The pores of the polyamide layers filter down to 0.0001 microns.
